I have begun a new series of work that right now is focused on large scale acrylic paintings. I am not sure how the works will unfold, but as they grapple with uncertainty, maybe its appropriate. The works deal with the uncertainties and imbalance associated with change and are a metaphor for the anthropocene. Our current world is in the process of change. Is it the end of days for us as a species and many other species as well? Or is it the beginning of something new and strange? My intention is to focus on playful approaches to this topic.
